Le Pavillon des Canaux
This original restaurant-bar along the canal de l'Ourcq is set up as a little house with several rooms that are all beautifully decorated as the different rooms of a normal house: kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom... You can sit wherever you want; you can even enjoy a coffee in the bathtub or have cake in bed.
Also from the outside, this place looks adorable. Have a seat on the outdoor patio to appreciate its beautiful facade. It's like a gingerbread house worth's of cuteness.
The options on the menu are mainly healthy snacks like cake, salad, vegetable pie and sandwiches. It is simple, but good and moderately priced. The hot chocolade for €3,50 is highly recommended too: you'll get pieces of chocolate over which they pour hot milk, and then it's up to you to stir.
This place serves many different functionalities: it is a restaurant, a bar, a coworking space ('The Coffice'), an exposition hall, a space for yoga sessions... In summer they also organise petanque and Mölkky games. Check out their website for all the activities.
