Itinerary for one day in Brussels
Even if you're only spending one day in Brussels, you can still cover most of its main sights as most of them are situated at walking distance from each other. The itinerary below is based on the article 12 places to visit on your first trip to Brussels and includes a visit to:
- Grand Place
- Manneken Pis
- Bourse
- Rue des Bouchers
- Galeries Royales
- Mont des Arts
- Musical Instruments' Museum
- Royal Palace
- Sablon
- Palace of Justice
The entire itinerary covers about 4 kilometers in distance, which isn't that much but you'll probably deviate from it to explore places you'll pass along the way (as you should). Depending on the sidetracks, this itinerary can easily take up an entire day. Zoom in to see the exact itinerary.
.
If you're feeling ambitious, you can add a visit to the Atomium and/or Parc du Cinquantenaire, for which we recommend using public transportation.
